**edit** For those of you who are mistaken, this photo was taken from an artistic point of view, yes the focus was the tattoo, but it was intended to be a Photograph, an artistic photograph. Of course this isn't my best photo, but it's a self portrait.
You would not believe how hard it is to get a good picture of a side tattoo. Anyways, this is my new tattoo, the dragonfly is the new part. Hopefully soon the whole side will be done. We'll be adding on to the flower with some more flowers and filigree. It's going to be going down past my pants waist and up under my bra. All on the side. I can't wait for it to be done.
All the tattoos I have are done by Brett Baumgart at I-45 Ink in houston TX.
Also, I hated the textures of these walls when I moved into this house, now I love them. It gives so much more to photos.
I was trying to make it artistic, instead of just a shot of the tattoo. There's a picture on facebook of it, where you can see all the detail, it's awesome. I love this tattoo, minus the fact that it's started the itchy peely stage. -.-
Not really. I think it just fit. I'm girly but I'm not /that/ girly. So a butterfly wouldn't really work, but a dragonfly is girly enough without that...stereotype that butterfly tattoos have. Plus I needed something that went with flowers...and bugs go well with flowers.
